The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Metaphor

What does the stained glass mean?

The stained glass you often see associated with Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ in print, online and on our campus symbolizes the word picture we use to describe why “see anew” is an appropriate metaphor for our unique Christian educational community.

The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Metaphor

Students who come to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ University enter a Christian community, coming together from many different places and many different Christian backgrounds to learn, worship and live together. Each student brings a rich perspective, his or her own color and, at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, those colors are celebrated, appreciated and allowed to remain distinct. In the grace of our shared love of Christ, and in our worship, study and service, we meld our separate colors together into a strong and vibrant stained glass window.

And the insight that is born in everyone is the light that shines through. Together we begin to see anew.
